The first day of spring was heralded by flurries and near-zero temperatures in our neck of the woods – that, after a week of sunny shirt-sleeve-weather days reminiscent of June. I find myself oddly reassured to see nature being as unpredictable as ever. Hence the theme of today’s prompts, which will be the last of the Saturday Scribes prompts for the forseeable future. Here’s to a life full of surprises, to help keep the muses amused, and the writing fresh.
